Donut 22 Special Edition Wing

Description

On a twinset, the top of the wing competes for space with two first stages, a manifold and a tangle of hoses. The Donut 22 Special Edition narrows the wing at the top to give that hardware room, keeps the head position comfortable and leaves the valves easier to reach. It carries 22 kg of lift for 2 x 10, 2 x 12 or 2 x 15 litre twinsets, with the inflator mounted at the top centre and the lower dump valve on the edge of the bladder where it falls to hand. It is at home on decompression dives on steel doubles, on cave training where valve drills are practised again and again, and on long wreck dives with stage cylinders clipped alongside. Construction is a PU-420 bladder in a Cordura 1000D shell, with two rows of holes for the tank bolts. Tecline cover the bladder and valves for five years, and five colours are offered. It suits a technical diver who wants a twinset wing laid out around valve access.
