Description

The torch that gets carried is the one small enough to forget about, and at 9 centimetres the D560 disappears into a BCD pocket. It is not a token light for that size: a single 14500 cell gives 700 lumens for 1 hour 10 with a beam carrying 134 metres on land, and dropping in an ordinary AA gives 180 lumens for 1 hour 25, which is the point that matters on a trip where nothing can be charged. The beam is 15 degrees, wide enough to work under a ledge without hunting. The switch is a mechanical rotary head rather than an electronic button, so there is nothing to flood, and the head rotates through 360 degrees when fitted to a mask mount for hands-free use. It is rated to 150 metres and to a 1.5 metre drop. It suits a diver wanting a pocket backup that runs on a shop-bought cell.
