The Shearwater Peregrine Console combines the Peregrine dive computer with a north compass and a submersible pressure gauge in a single modular boot, connected via a high-pressure hose rather than worn on the wrist. The console is built around the standard Peregrine unit, which remains removable and can be switched between console mount and wrist mount as needed. Configuration options let a diver select or omit the compass module depending on preference, and the console can be fitted with an optional HP hose quick disconnect.

The Peregrine itself runs a 2.2-inch full-colour LCD at 320 x 240 resolution, operated through two 316 stainless steel buttons and a state-aware menu structure. It supports Air, Nitrox up to 40%, 3 Gas Nitrox up to 100% O2, and Gauge mode, using the Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm with no lockout for dive plan deviations. It does not include a Tec mode. The computer runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, rated for up to 30 hours per charge at medium brightness, with a USB-C wireless charging station and battery charging clip included so the unit can recharge while still mounted in the console. Dive log capacity runs to approximately 200 hours, with Bluetooth syncing to the Shearwater Cloud app for log downloads and firmware updates.

The console assembly includes a compass module, a brass-and-glass quality SPG in PSI units, a 32-inch high-pressure hose, and a nylon lanyard with quick-disconnect buckle for attaching to a BCD D-ring. A PET screen protector is pre-installed on the display, with a spare included. This configuration suits divers who prefer traditional gauge-style instrumentation over a wrist-mounted computer, though instrument consoles carry a higher entanglement risk than streamlined wrist or transmitter-based setups and are uncommon in technical diving configurations.
