Description

A dive computer that runs flat halfway through a liveaboard day is worth nothing, and the Perdix 3 answers that with a single AA cell any diver can swap on the boat deck in under a minute. A lithium AA carries it about 60 hours and a Saft LS14500 closer to 80, so a spare cell in a pocket replaces a charging cable and a wall socket. On a trimix decompression dive the 2.4 inch AMOLED holds five open circuit and five closed circuit gases on one screen, and the new BIG layout enlarges the critical fields when cold and narcosis make small text hard work. On a shore dive in dry gloves the titanium piezo buttons respond without a felt click. On a rebreather it shows fixed setpoint, bailout and up to four transmitter pressures together. It suits a diver moving from recreational nitrox into decompression work who wants one computer to cover both, and the Perdix/Petrel Strap Kit and Screen Protector Kit fit it directly.
