R105 Octopus Second Stage

Description

Colour and length are the whole point of an octopus build. A buddy out of air has to see it and reach it, and one metre of high-visibility yellow Super-Flow hose does both: it reaches face to face without dragging the donor's head down or trailing loops across the reef. The valve is a classic downstream design that fails open rather than closed, with a metal valve housing inside a compact casing based on the S620Ti, and the oversized hose bore moves more air on each inhalation. A dive and pre-dive VIVA switch stops it free flowing while it hangs unused, and a soft co-moulded purge clears water. The compact hi-flow mouthpiece takes a range of mouth sizes, which counts when the person biting it is not the owner. The attachment reverses, so it moves to a pony or deco cylinder. The valve is unbalanced, which suits a backup. It suits a diver fitting a visible alternate air source.
