REC1 Second Stage

Description

Warm-water recreational diving asks little of a second stage beyond an easy breath and a low weight in the mouth, and paying for cold-water adjustments that never get used adds nothing. The REC1 is Tecline's light, simple second stage: a polyamide body of 195 g with a venturi control knob and a wide exhaust tee, and no breathing resistance adjustment. It is certified to EN 250. The black version is the primary regulator for a diver fitting out a first set for reef holidays. The yellow version is the octopus, easy to spot when a buddy reaches for it and a straightforward replacement on a rental or training set. The green version is Tecline's O2 variant of the same second stage, used on the stage regulators in their oxygen sets, and Tecline describe the REC1 as ideal for warm-water diving. Hose and first stage are sold separately. It suits a recreational diver building or refreshing a warm-water regulator.
