Tecline supply this REC1 octopus with its 0.90 m yellow Proflex LP hose already matched, so it goes onto a free LP port of a first stage as one unit. The yellow cover and yellow hose make it easy for a buddy to find in a hurry. The REC1 is a light, simple second stage with a polyamide body, a venturi control knob and a wide exhaust tee, with no breathing resistance adjustment, and it is certified to EN 250. It fits a diver completing a first regulator set before a reef holiday, a dive centre replacing a tired octopus on a rental set, and a diver whose old octopus hose has perished. Tecline pitch the REC1 at recreational diving. The first stage is sold separately, and fitting is work for a qualified technician. It suits a recreational diver adding or replacing an octopus.
