TEC1 Second Stage

Description

A second stage that breathes well in a warm sea can start to free-flow or feel stiff in cold water, and replacing it for every change of climate is expensive. The TEC1 is Tecline's small, light second stage for universal use: pneumatically balanced, with a venturi knob, a breathing resistance adjustment knob and an extra heat exchanger for cold water, behind an anodised aluminium outer ring. It weighs 250 g and meets EN 250A for cold water. The black version serves as the primary on a regulator used in a cold inland quarry in winter and on a tropical liveaboard the same year. The yellow octopus version gives a buddy a backup that breathes as well as the primary. The green version is the O2 variant Tecline fit to their oxygen stage sets, for a decompression cylinder on a technical dive. Hose and first stage are sold separately, and fitting is work for a qualified technician. It suits a diver who wants one adjustable second stage for warm and cold water.
