Description

A housing that reports a failing seal gets opened on the boat rather than flooded at depth, which is the part that matters most on any smartphone housing. A dual alarm system pairs a vacuum pressure check with an internal moisture sensor, so a compromised seal is flagged on the surface. The housing is rated to 40 metres and holds phones from the iPhone 11 through to the iPhone 17 Pro along with most Plus-sized Android models, which means the camera a diver already owns goes down inside a case rather than being replaced by a dedicated system. Bluetooth Low Energy connects it to the free SportDiver app for manual control over zoom, exposure, focus, white balance and video settings, with a large shutter lever and rear buttons doing the shooting, since a touchscreen does not work through a housing. Triple 1/4-20 mounts allow a tray, grip or video light to be added later. The phone is not included. It suits a diver taking their own phone to depth.
