WeeFine WFA85 Diffuser for WFS05 Ring Strobe

Description

A bare strobe tube throws a hard, uneven light that can leave a bright centre in the frame and dark edges on a wide scene. The WFA85 is WeeFine's white diffuser for its ring strobes: it screws onto the front of a WFS05 or WFS02 on an M94 x 0.75 thread and spreads the flash more evenly across the frame, softening hot spots. It fits in seconds and comes off as quickly when full power and reach are needed instead. On a wide-angle reef shot it evens the light across the foreground, on a close portrait it softens shadows and bright reflections on shiny subjects, and on a night dive it takes the harsh edge off close flash. Softer light means less reach, so strobe power may need turning up. It suits a WFS05 or WFS02 owner who wants softer, more even flash.
