WeeFine Blue Filter for Smart Focus 5000 and 7000

Description

At depth the water filters out warm colours, so a white video light makes the lit foreground look far warmer than the blue background, and one white balance cannot correct both. These WeeFine filters fit over the front of a Smart Focus 5000 or 7000 and tint its light blue to match the ambient water, so a manual white balance can correct the whole frame at once. Two strengths are offered: light blue for moderate depths and clearer water, and dark blue for deeper dives where the ambient light is bluer. On a reef wall at 20 m the light blue version blends the lit foreground with the water behind it, on a deep wreck the dark blue matches the heavier blue cast, and on a mixed-depth dive the pair can be swapped between clips. A filter reduces the light's output, so exposure settings may need adjusting. It suits a videographer who sets a manual white balance underwater.
