Tank Valve Plug

Description

One pair of valves can cover two configurations instead of two pairs being bought, and this is the part that decides which. Fitted, it blanks the crossover port on an M25 cylinder valve and makes it a single-cylinder valve; taken out, the port opens for a manifold and the valves join into a twin set. The saving is the price of a second pair. Plugs are handed and the two sides are not interchangeable: the left-side plug suits the left-hand M25 valve and the right-side plug suits the right-hand valve. Both are pressure-bearing parts sealing into the valve body and both are sold singly. Read the side off the valve already on the cylinder rather than guessing, because a plug on the wrong side will not seat. Fitting is a qualified cylinder technician's job and the cylinder is tested afterwards. It suits a diver switching between single and twin cylinders.
