Description

Plain enough that losing one off a boat deck is an irritation rather than a loss, which is exactly what a training centre, a club or a rental crate wants. This is the simplest snorkel in the range: a solid one-piece barrel with a splashguard top and a purge valve set close under the mouthpiece, where that low position lets one short breath clear the tube. The splashguard turns back surface chop without the breathing resistance a full dry valve adds. Because the barrel is one piece there is nothing to work loose and nothing to service. The mouthpiece is silicone and the colour is black throughout. This is also the snorkel SCUBAPRO pack into the Seawing Supernova set, and it does the job on a surface swim out to a Cape shore-entry site. The rigid barrel does not fold or drop away from the face, so a diver who wants the mouthpiece hanging clear while breathing off a regulator should take the Escape or the Spectra. It suits training, club kit and rental use.
