Splash Snorkel

Description

For a scuba diver carrying a snorkel because a briefing said to, rather than because a long surface swim is planned, a full dry valve is more machinery than the job needs. This is the middle option: a splash guard shaped to deflect chop away from the opening without sealing the tube, so the airway stays free-breathing instead of carrying the resistance a dry valve introduces. The lower section is corrugated so the tube hangs clear of the face with a regulator in, and a purge at the base clears whatever water does enter. The mouthpiece is soft silicone, and it threads onto a Fourth Element mask strap through the triglide clip. It stows more easily than either sibling. Three colourways are stocked: black, black with white, and clear with aqua. The Dry Snorkel is the sealed-top version for rougher conditions and the Float the folding freediving one with no purge at all. Fourth Element publish no weight. It suits a scuba diver on short, manageable surface swims.
