Mexico Pro Snorkel

Description

A splash guard that keeps water out usually does it by restricting the opening, and the diver pays for it on every breath. The Mexico Pro is shaped to deflect surface water without narrowing the airway, so waves are handled and breathing stays easy and natural rather than feeling laboured. The tube carries an ergonomic curve drawn to follow the contours of the face more closely than a straight tube does, which keeps it against the head instead of standing away and levering on the mask strap. The mouthpiece is 100 per cent silicone and soft, which is what makes an hour face-down bearable rather than something endured. Three colourways are offered. That combination suits a reef swim in chop, a long surface transit, and a snorkeller who has given up on a tube that floods. It suits a snorkeller who wants dry breathing without restricted airflow.
