Description

Insulation around the ankle costs more than it gives, because that bulk is what makes a drysuit hard to pull on, so the lower leg here is deliberately single-layered. Everywhere the muscle mass is, the two-layer Fourth Element system does its work: a hard-wearing outer face over a brushed insulating inner. Secure foot loops anchor the legs so nothing rides up while the suit goes over them, the waistband is cut high to keep separation from the top to a minimum, and a zipped thigh pocket is set into one leg. Tuck the Arctic top into that waistband before the drysuit goes on; it is the step most divers skip and then regret at forty minutes. Twelve sizes run Small to 3X Large with Short lengths, in black. The Arctic Top is the matching upper half and the Arctic One Piece the single-garment alternative. It suits a drysuit diver building an Arctic undersuit.
