Description

Three items get bolted to a BCD more often than anything else, and this packages all three. A torch on the harness turns a swim-through or the underside of a wreck from a grey shape into something with detail, on an ordinary daytime dive; the knife is there for entanglement in line or net, which in Cape kelp is worth carrying on the chest rather than leaving in a bag; the retractor keeps both attached without either dangling. The Nova 200 is a compact aluminium bodied LED torch, light enough to live in a BCD pocket, the metal body giving corrosion resistance in salt water. The White Tip knife is 304 grade hard tempered stainless steel, which takes a working edge and resists surface oxidation, mounted within reach of either hand. Mounting suits a standard BCD, while a Hydros Pro takes its own knife and accessory plate. The Nova 200 is a task and backup torch rather than a primary night lamp. It suits a diver equipping a BCD in one purchase.
