Mares Stainless Spiral Lanyard with Ring

Description

A torch or camera on a short fixed lanyard is either too tight to use or loose enough to swing into the reef. This Mares spiral lanyard has a stainless steel coil that sits compact against the BCD, stretches to more than 50 cm when the item is pulled out, and draws back when it is let go. A ring gives a secure attachment point, and a quick-release buckle separates the item from the lanyard without unclipping it from the D-ring. Because the coil draws the item back to the D-ring, it returns to the same spot on the rig each time. That covers a primary torch on a night dive, a compact camera passed to a buddy for a shot, and a slate used across a long survey. It suits a diver who wants accessories secured but usable at arm's length.
