Mares Standard Retractor

Description

Anything worth carrying on a dive needs to reach the diver's eyeline and then get out of the way again. The Mares standard retractor does both with a stainless steel cable that extends to more than 50 cm and winds back when released, keeping a gauge, torch or camera tight to the BCD between uses. High-strength hooks on both ends clip to a D-ring on one side and the accessory on the other, so it moves between items without tools. Because the item returns on its own, nothing is left trailing after a quick look. That covers a console read at a safety stop, a compact camera on a reef dive, and a backup light on a night dive. It suits a diver tired of hunting for a gauge that has swung behind them.
