Regulator Elbow 90 Degree

Description

Some rigs need the hose to leave the shoulder sharply, and on those a straight run drags the second stage out of line. This elbow answers that with a full right angle, the tighter of the two SCUBAPRO offer, turning the low pressure hose where it enters the regulator body so the mouthpiece can sit square. Two things follow. The jaw stops working to hold the regulator against a sideways pull, which matters most in the last twenty minutes of a dive. And the hose lies flatter across the shoulder, so the loop that would otherwise stand proud and catch a shot line or wreck plate is largely gone. It is a female to male fitting, screwing into the second stage port with the hose nut threading onto the other end, and either a primary or an alternate can take one. Most back-mounted single-cylinder rigs will not need this much turn. It suits a diver whose hose has to break hard off the shoulder.
