AIR2 COUPLING FOR LP HOSE
The SCUBAPRO Air2 Coupling for LP Hose is the quick-disconnect fitting that joins the low pressure hose from the first stage to an Air2. It is the female half of the coupling, and it is a wear item: the internal o-rings and the locking collar are what fail after enough seasons, not the hose itself.
A coupling that has become stiff or that leaks a fine stream of bubbles at the joint should be replaced rather than lubricated. A leak here is a slow loss of gas throughout the dive and it will not improve on its own.
