Weight Pocket Moulded 50mm (Pair)

Description

A soft pouch works its way round a belt as a diver turns, and lead that migrates onto one hip rolls the diver with it. Moulding resists that, so trim set on the surface survives the descent and the first few minutes of a shore entry through surf. The same moulding keeps the pocket open when empty, so lead drops in one-handed instead of needing the fabric propped with the other. The webbing slot is cut for 50 mm belt stock, the standard width on technical harnesses and on most adult weight belts; the 40 mm pocket is a separate part and the two do not interchange, so the belt wants measuring first. These thread on rather than clip on, so an existing belt has to come off its buckle. They are sold as a pair and take hard block or soft shot weights, with lead bought separately. These are belt pockets, not the ditchable integrated system of a jacket BCD. It suits a diver on a 50 mm weight belt or harness.
