SCUBAPRO Weight Pocket 50mm Single 5kg

Description

Ballast is rarely symmetrical once a diver is trimmed properly, and this is sold singly rather than as a pair for that reason: one pocket on one hip is a legitimate configuration, and so is a 5 kg pocket on one side against something smaller on the other. It takes up to 5 kg and threads onto a 50 mm belt or harness waist strap. A pocket rather than loose blocks keeps the weight where it was placed instead of letting it slide round the belt as the dive goes on, which is what pulls a diver out of trim without them noticing. It also lets the weight come off and go up to the boat before the ladder, which is worth doing every single time. It suits a 50 mm belt or harness needing up to 5 kg on one hip.
