IST Tech BCD Weight Pocket

Description

Weight on a backplate rig has to stay put through the dive and still come off fast in an emergency, and the IST Tech BCD Weight Pocket from the Dolphin Tech range does both. It mounts on a tech BCD harness and stays streamlined, leaving the chest and abdomen clear for clipping off stages, reels and lights. The quick-release buckle lets the diver jettison the weight in the swimming position, without changing body position. Lead blocks load into a separate inner pouch, so at the end of the dive the weight lifts out in one piece instead of being fished out block by block on a rocking boat. The outer pouch is heavy duty 1680D nylon and the inner pouch 420D nylon. IST rates each pocket for 4 kg (8.8 lb). It suits wing and harness divers who want ditchable weight on the harness.
