OMS Utility Pocket with Vertical Ballast

Description

Carrying lead on the harness waist strap frees a diver from a separate weight belt, and this pocket adds useful storage in the same space. The OMS Utility Pocket with Vertical Ballast combines a vertical weight pocket that holds up to 2.7 kg (6 lb) with a utility pocket on its face. A small zipped pocket at the top and an inner storage pocket take a spare mask, a reel, a cutting tool or a small SMB. An inbuilt elastic loop gives those items a clip-off point, and an outer D-ring carries a pressure gauge or another accessory. The upright, low-profile shape keeps the lead tucked close to the hip on a long swim along a reef wall. It fits most backplate systems that use 2 inch (5.1 cm) webbing on the waist strap.
