Two divers finning between reef outcrops

Wetsuit, fin and boot size finder

Pick what you're sizing and the brand, add your measurements or shoe size, and get the maker's own size, then see what we have in it.

  • Wetsuits, fins, boots and socks
  • The maker's own size charts
  • Free, nothing to sign up for

Your wetsuit size comes from your height, chest and weight; your fin and boot size from your UK shoe size. Each maker cuts its own way, so this finder uses the maker's own chart for the exact range you pick: Mares, SCUBAPRO, Cressi, Aqualung, Fourth Element and more. It shows the size, flags charts converted to metric, tells you when you're between sizes, and lists what we have in that size.

Sizing questions

How do I find my wetsuit size?

Use the maker's own chart for the suit you want. Measure your height, chest and weight, then find the row where they all fit. Each brand cuts differently, so a Medium in one brand is not always a Medium in another.

What if I'm between two sizes?

Go with the size that matches your chest and height. A wetsuit should fit snug with no loose folds. If you're still between sizes, WhatsApp us on 082 557 3822 and we'll check which sizes we have on hand.

How should a wetsuit fit?

A wetsuit should fit snug from neck to ankles, with no gaps at the lower back, armpits or knees, and still let you raise your arms and bend. Water that pools in gaps carries your warmth away.

How do fin sizes work?

Full-foot fins are sized to your bare foot, so go by your shoe size. Open-heel fins are worn with boots, so choose the boots first and size the fin to the boot.

Are the shoe sizes UK or EU?

We show UK sizes, the sizes used in South Africa, next to the maker's EU sizes. Where a maker only gives US or EU sizes, the UK figure is worked out and marked approx.

What does "Converted to metric" mean?

A few makers publish their charts in inches and pounds. We converted those to centimetres and kilograms; the size names are still the maker's own.
