Description

Predictive multi-gas means the ascent is planned in the knowledge that a deco mix will be switched to, instead of assuming bottom mix the whole way up. That is what this full-size wrist unit runs, ZH-L16 ADT MB across three gases from 21 to 100 percent oxygen, and it is the reason the computer covers a diver's progression rather than one stage of it. Gauge mode strips the decompression calculation out and leaves a bottom timer; Freediving mode logs apnea sessions on the same instrument that ran the morning's nitrox dive. A metallic silver faceplate carries segmented LCD on the top and middle rows with a matrix row along the bottom, where the on-board digital compass also appears. PDIS builds an intermediate stop from nitrogen loading across this dive, earlier dives and the mixes breathed, and Microbubble levels set the conservatism. The CR2450 sits in a compartment isolated from the electronics and is changed by the diver. It suits a diver who wants one computer to grow into.
