SCUBAPRO Argon Strap Kit BP Mount

Description

An argon bottle banded to the main cylinder shifts position every time that tank is swapped, and one clipped to a D-ring swings into the wing and the plate. Bolting it to the backplate settles both problems: it sits in the diver's slipstream, out of the flow and clear of a valve drill in a drysuit, and it stays in the same place whatever cylinder is fitted. This kit does that through the argon mounting points already built into the S-TEK PURE and PRO plates, which makes it the simpler of the two argon kits since no second band is needed. It takes 6 and 13 cubic foot argon cylinders and routes its webbing on Quad Glide hardware. What ships is webbing and hardware alone; the argon cylinder, its regulator and the drysuit inflation hose are separate purchases. Argon is carried for drysuit inflation because it insulates better than air. It suits an S-TEK diver adding suit inflation gas.
