Cressi Cargo Bungee Rope

Description

The bungee across the nose of an inflatable board is what stops a dry bag, a bottle or a jacket going over the side, and it is the first thing to perish because it lives in sun and salt permanently. This is the replacement elastic bungee rope for Cressi iSUP boards, three metres long at a generous 5 mm diameter, which is the specification that gives both the tension to hold cargo down and the strength not to snap under it. Thinner cord stretches without gripping, which is why a worn bungee lets gear slide out from under it long before it actually breaks. Three metres is enough to re-lace a full deck rather than patch one section. It is supplied in white. That answers a perished deck bungee, a board bought second hand and a longer touring lace-up. It suits a Cressi iSUP owner re-rigging the deck.
