Description

Consoles are usually replaced whole when only one instrument has failed, which is expensive and unnecessary. The Elements line is built the other way round, as modules that sit in a housing and can be changed individually, so a cracked depth gauge does not condemn a working pressure gauge. This is the two-element version, carrying cylinder pressure and depth on one hose. Both read against a luminescent face, and the pressure side uses a Swiss made shock-resistant Bourdon tube, the part that determines whether a mechanical gauge stays accurate after being dropped. An integrated temperature scale is included and it is nitrox compatible to 50 per cent. That answers a club fleet where instruments get replaced piecemeal, a diver rebuilding a console around a new computer, and a set where only one gauge has gone. It suits a diver or a centre that repairs consoles rather than replacing them.
