Description

An inflatable board is only as good as the material it is made from, because a board that flexes underfoot wastes every stroke. The Element uses Cressi DWF double wall fabric, an airtight multilayer material whose internal fibres pull the surfaces flat and rigid once inflated, with a double-layer rail of variable thickness. The shape is all-round, a rounded nose and flat tail giving manoeuvrability and stability, and the nose rocker stops the bow burying itself in chop, which is what makes it usable at sea rather than only on flat water. A large diamond-patterned pad gives a wide walkable area with grip underfoot when wet. It is a ready-to-use set: the board inflates in under ten minutes and packs into the supplied backpack with the accessories needed to paddle. It is 310 cm, in blue and white. That answers a sea paddle, a lake and a first board. It suits a paddler who wants a rigid, no-frills board that packs away.
