Aqualung Elements 3-Gauge Console

Description

A compass held in one hand while a console is held in the other is how divers lose a heading, and it is why a three-gauge console still earns its place beside a wrist computer. This one puts cylinder pressure, depth and a compass in a single housing, so a bearing is taken and the gas checked without changing grip. The compass carries a large ratcheting bezel that can be set in gloves, a side view window for taking a bearing while swimming rather than while stopped, and fluorescent markings at 10, 20, 30 and 130 degrees for low light. The pressure gauge reads to 350 bar through a Swiss made shock-resistant Bourdon tube, with an integrated temperature scale, a luminescent face and a one-way safety valve. It is nitrox compatible to 50 per cent. It suits a diver navigating on a compass rather than following a guide.
