SCUBAPRO Extender D-Ring Kit

Description

A fixed D-ring migrates as the webbing shifts, and a diver in thick gloves ends up feeling along the strap for it. Mounting the ring on a webbing slider instead means the attachment point moves with the harness as it is drawn tighter or let out, so it is still where the hand expects it after the webbing has gone out over a drysuit. The ring is pre-bent, standing proud of the webbing rather than lying flat against it, which makes clipping a stage or a reel a one-handed job. It is built for the S-TEK Pure harness in extender mode, with the slider attaching into the backplate slot on a Quad-Glide, in marine-grade stainless steel. SCUBAPRO list it as compatible with the Argon Strap Back Plate Mount Kit, so a suit inflation bottle and the extra D-ring share the same plate slots. Harness, backplate and argon bottle are separate. It adds no lift and does not replace the sewn shoulder D-rings. It suits an S-TEK Pure diver in extender mode.
