Description

The split in this range is simple: the GO Travel is barefoot, this one takes a boot, and a boot is what goes on before a giant stride into cold water at Miller's Point. The Ergo3 foot pocket is re-profiled around a dive boot rather than a bare foot, and the self-tensioning bungee heel strap takes the fin on and off in the water with no buckle to set. Construction is 100 percent Monprene, which sidesteps delamination, split blades and torn pockets. The 25 degree pre-angled blade carries a Central Power Panel for longitudinal rigidity and Power Bars under the rails to stop over-flex, and the revised blade takes optional skegs, the small fins that cut sideslip and double as a way to colour-code sizes across a rental fleet. The pair still fits inside IATA carry-on luggage, so one pair covers most of a South African dive year. Five sizes are stocked in five colours, with pink running XS to L. It suits a diver in boots on a rocky shore entry.
