Mares Avanti Pure X Fins

Description

A fin worn barefoot on a warm-water holiday usually starts rubbing at the back of the heel long before the day in the water is over. The Avanti Pure X answers that with a soft foot pocket and an ergonomic heel pad that takes pressure off the Achilles tendon. A bungee strap holds it on, and the Mares Quick Adjusting System sets the strap to one of two lengths. On a reef snorkel from the beach it goes on barefoot and the puller loop pulls it off again at the waterline. On a pool training session or a tropical boat dive it takes a thin sock instead. The soft blade uses Channel Thrust to move water efficiently at a relaxed flutter kick, so the legs stay fresher for a second or third session in a day. Sizes run from XXS for small feet up to L/XL. It suits a newer diver or a snorkeller travelling to warm water who wants a light, adjustable fin that is easy on the legs.
