Description

Bulk in a drysuit costs gas and lead: a thicker undersuit takes more air to loft and more weight to sink, and a thinner one keeps both down. That is the argument for Light Grid Plush at 164 grams per square metre, quoted within 5 percent either way, breathable, warm and stretchy, and it is what makes this the lighter of the two weights in the K2 range. The grid pattern follows the styling of the Everflex 1.5 mm line. The cut is long-sleeved with elastic wrist loops, which hold the sleeve down instead of letting it ride to the elbow while a drysuit is pulled over it. Unlike the heavier K2 Medium, the Light top is rated for wear under a neoprene or semi-dry wetsuit as well as a drysuit, and it can be worn on a temperate day without cooking a diver on the boat before the dive. Six sizes run S to 3XL. Special order applies. It suits a temperate-water diver keeping bulk down.
