Description

Women and children are routinely handed masks designed around an average adult male face, and the leak that follows gets blamed on technique. The Lince is drawn the other way round: it descends from the Big Eyes and keeps its visibility, but on a skirt conceived specifically for smaller faces. It is effectively the Matrix's smaller sibling in both volume and dimensions. Internal volume is remarkably low, lower in fact than many masks sold specifically for freediving, which makes it genuinely usable on demanding breath-hold descents as well as on scuba. A modern strap adjustment system keeps it comfortable and quick to set. That range of use is the point: one mask covering snorkelling, deep freediving and scuba. It suits a woman, a junior or any diver with a smaller face who has never found a mask that seals.
