Description

Field of view in a mask is decided by how close the glass sits to the eye, not by how large the window is. The Linea uses Aqua Lung's patented Micromask construction, moulding lens, skirt and frame as a single piece so the lenses sit unusually close to the face, and the result is wide peripheral vision from a dual lens mask with very little internal volume. Low volume means it clears on almost no air and pulls upward barely at all, which is felt on a long dive and more so on a drift where water is pushing at the frame. Cardanic joint buckles rotate vertically and horizontally, so the strap sits where the head is rather than where the frame points, and push-button adjustment works in gloves. The lenses are tempered glass and the mask meets ANSI standards. It suits a diver who wants a wide field of view in a compact low volume mask.
