Frameless Mask

Description

Folded flat this takes the space of a pair of gloves, which is why a second mask stops being a packing decision and starts living in a BCD pocket. It is diving's original frameless design: with no frame around the lens, the buckles mount on flexible tabs moulded into the skirt itself, so the whole thing collapses. The single lens is rectangular, widening the view to the sides as well as ahead, and it sits close to the eyes, which suits divers who dislike the tunnel feel of a framed twin-lens mask. Internal volume stays low, so it clears on a short breath, worth counting on a deco stop where gas is being watched. The skirt is soft silicone with a double-edge seal, and push-button buckles on the skirt tabs give the strap a wider range of movement across differing head shapes. Three colourways are stocked. It suits a diver wanting a low-volume mask that packs flat.
