Description

Dropping the frame brings the glass close to the face, and that single change does two things at once: it cuts internal volume and widens the field of view. Less air on each clear is worth having on a course where mask skills come round again and again, and the single lens leaves no centre join in the line of sight, so the view straight ahead is unbroken. What makes this one notable is where it sits, at the entry end of the range rather than the premium end. The lens is tempered glass and the skirt is double-sealed silicone, moulded to meet the face on two contact edges rather than one. Swivel buckles sit on flexible mounts on the skirt so the strap angle can be routed to suit the head, on a non-slip strap with an easy-set buckle. Packed dimensions are 19 by 10.9 by 9.9 centimetres. The lens is fixed, so no optical inserts fit. It suits a new diver wanting a low-volume mask without the premium price.
