Description

Shooting stills or video, stray light bouncing around inside a clear skirt shows up in the frame, and blacking out the skirt shuts it off. That is the case for this all-black build of the Trinidad 3, skirt and buckles included. On a night dive the same trait keeps a torch beam from scattering across the periphery. Lens and skirt are bonded without a frame, cutting size and weight, and the single lens leaves the view uninterrupted. The low-volume shape clears on a short breath. Glass is SCUBAPRO Ultra Clear tempered, distortion free at depth. Quick-release buckles clip to tabs moulded into the skirt rather than to a rigid frame, so the strap follows the head through a wider arc, and those buckles take the ski goggle-style Comfort Straps. Divers new to a black skirt should try one first, since the tighter sense of space suits some faces and not others. It suits a photographer or a night diver wanting side light shut out.
