Description

A mask with a rigid frame takes up a fixed amount of space in a bag whatever else is packed around it. The Plazma has no frame at all: the silicone is sealed straight to the lens, so the skirt crumples flat against the faceplate and the mask travels in a pocket rather than a box. Removing the frame also drops the internal volume and the weight, and it puts the lens closer to the eye. Pressure reduction zones are moulded into the silicone skirt at the points where a mask presses hardest, which is what keeps a long dive comfortable, and those same reinforced zones stabilise the skirt at its traditional weak points. Advanced Fit Technology varies the silicone texture across the sealing band, and one-touch quick fit buckles adjust in thick gloves. That answers a travelling diver, a long dive, and a spare in a BCD pocket. It suits a diver who packs light.
