SEAC Pura Mask

Description

A mask that fogs turns a dive into a series of stops to clear it, and the SEAC Pura deals with that at the glass itself rather than with a gel. SEAC treats the tempered glass lens with a plasma process, repeated twice, in which a gas makes the surface porous and hydrophilic so it retains a film of water instead of fogging; moistening the lens and rubbing it gently with the fingertips keeps the effect working. On a reef dive the frameless single lens gives a wide, natural field of vision. On a freedive or a scuba descent, the low internal volume makes equalising easier. The 3D buckle is built into the silicone skirt for quick, precise adjustment, and SEAC designs the mask for recreational and professional diving as well as snorkelling. It comes in seven colours. It suits a diver, freediver or snorkeller who wants a clear view without applying defogger before every dive.
