Matrix Mask

Description

The Matrix takes the raked, inverted teardrop lens that Cressi introduced on the Big Eyes and pushes it as far as the geometry allows: the lenses sit as close to the eyes as it is possible to place them. The frame around them is streamlined to the point of disappearing from view when the mask is worn. The result is an internal volume lower than many masks sold specifically for freediving, at a genuinely low weight, which is why the Matrix turns up on breath-hold dives as often as on scuba. The soft silicone skirt uses a broad seal ring for waterproofing without clamping pressure, and rubber grip inserts sit across the top of the mask. Two pressure buckles integrated into the frame make strap adjustment quick and precise, on a strap broad enough to spread the load across the neck. It suits a diver who wants maximum field of view at minimum volume.
