Cressi Mini Retractable Lanyard

Description

Small items get dropped, and underwater a dropped item is usually gone. A retractable lanyard means anything clipped to it can be pulled out to arm's length, used, and let go to return on its own, which is a different proposition from a fixed cord that has to be coiled and stowed by hand every time. It suits the things a diver reaches for repeatedly, a torch, a slate, a camera, a reel, keeping them close to the body between uses rather than swinging on a long line where they snag and drag. Being a mini version, it stays out of the way on a harness that is already busy. It is supplied in black. Cressi publish no extension length or load rating for this part, so nothing further is claimed here and it should be matched to the weight of the item it will carry. That answers a torch on a night dive, a slate and a camera. It suits a diver tethering small items.
