Description

A weight pocket that has to be lined up by feel while wearing gloves is a weight pocket that eventually gets pushed in half-seated, and a half-seated pocket falls out on a giant stride. SureLock II is built around removing that possibility: the pocket aligns itself as it goes in, seats with an audible click that can be heard through a hood, and comes out only on a single smooth pull of the handle. This is the ModLock version, which attaches to the Rogue system rather than to a conventional jacket, in a pair giving 10 lb of ditchable weight in total. Ditchable weight is the part of a rig that has to work first time in an emergency and never work by accident on any other dive, which is why the mechanical detail matters more here than anywhere else on a BCD. It suits a Rogue owner adding or replacing ditchable weight pockets.
