S-TEK Trim Weight Kit

Description

Trim is a question of where weight sits rather than how much of it there is. A diver heavy at the hips and light at the shoulders will fight to stay flat all dive and will call it a buoyancy problem when it is a distribution one. These kits move a small amount of lead up and back, onto the plate or onto the waist webbing, which is where it does most to level a diver out. Two mounts are made. The back plate version bolts through the plate and sits under the cylinder, high and central. The strap version threads onto webbing, which suits a rig whose plate is already carrying an argon cylinder or a canister light. Both take standard hard weights. It suits a diver trimmed feet down who does not want more lead on the belt.
