Compact UW Retractor

Description

Clipping kit off with a bolt snap makes it secure but takes two hands and a look to release. A retractor solves that: the item pulls into use and returns on its own. This is the compact size, cut for a Micro or ReefMaster series camera or a Sea Dragon Mini dive light. The line is Spectra and nylon with a 60 pound, 27 kg, breaking strength, extending 81 cm on a 9 ounce, 255 gram, retraction force, which is enough to pull a compact back without dragging it out of a hand. The body is polycarbonate with a stainless steel spring and hardware, the clip a 1 inch heavy-duty snap for a BCD D-ring, and the 3 inch quick-connect lanyard will not scratch a camera. The mechanism is self-flushing, so a rinse in fresh water is all the maintenance it needs. It measures 14.5 by 4.1 by 1.5 cm at 49 grams. SeaLife have it custom made by GearKeeper in the USA. It suits a diver carrying a compact camera or small light.
