Description

Cylinder pressure is the one number a diver cannot estimate, and it is the reading most worth having on something that cannot run out of charge. The SM-36 is a mechanical 300 bar module, so it reads whether or not a transmitter is paired, a battery is flat or a computer has flooded. That makes it the primary gauge on a rental or club set, where simplicity beats features, and an honest backup on a technical set where pressure otherwise arrives wirelessly at the wrist. It is sized for a Suunto console and supplied on its own, without a hose or sleeve, so an existing hose can be reused when the module is the part that has failed. It suits a diver replacing a tired gauge, or assembling a console from parts rather than buying one complete.
