Description

Fins usually fail where two materials are bonded together, and the Storm Max simply does not have that joint. Blade and foot pocket are moulded from a single TPV compound, so there is nothing to delaminate, nothing to peel and no glue line to give up after a season in salt and sunlight. The blade is stiff enough to transfer power without the flutter that comes from an over-soft plastic, and the ergonomic foot pocket is shaped to prevent the fatigue caused by a pocket that lets the foot move. A silicone bungee strap goes on and off over a boot without a buckle to adjust or corrode. It is an open heel fin, so it is worn with a bootie rather than bare feet. That answers a rental fleet turned over daily, a club set used by a different person each week, and a diver who wants fins that need no thought. It suits a diver buying fins to last.
